The Yerba Mate contains vitamins of the B group wich represent 8 of the 13 vitamins that are essential for body functions such as energy and red blood cells production. Yerba Mate consumption helps reduce bad cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides levels.
Nutritionally,Yerba Mate Buenos Airesinfusions are hypocaloric with low amount of sodium and its main input are micronutrients, acording to Universidad Nacional de Misiones.
The "mate" contributes variable amounts of vitamins being vitamins B1 (thiamin) y B6 (pyridoxine) the most important, covering 72.3% and 37.2% of the daily recommended amounts for these nutrients is adult men and women, respectively.
Regarding mineral micronutrients input the "mate" covers 20.3% of the daily recommended nedds of magnesium, 13.5% of stablished requirements of iron for male adults and 6.2% for demale in fertile age considering an average diet.
